Product Information
NarrowTrax is an Australian made, non-hazardous, temporary coating system, which is applied as a waterbased, viscous liquid.
NarrowTrax dries clear, to signify it is Protection Ready.
It dries into a flexible, durable membrane to protect paint and high quality surface finishes from dirt, stone chips and rogue branches. The membrane is removed simply by peeling off from a corner in one continuous sheet. -
Installation Guide
Installation:
Always test on an inconspicuous area prior to install.
1. Wash and dry surface prior to application.
2. Install PE tape to all joins, joints and reactive surfaces.
3. With a 10mm nap roller, apply a base coat of NarrowTrax to the surface.
4. After 10 minutes; apply a second coat of NarrowTrax, achieving a minimum 250um thickness (approximately 4m2/ litre).
5. Remove PE tape while coat is wet.
We recommend 2 coats to ensure minimum coat thickness required is achieved. The thicker the coat, the better the protection and easier the removal process. For best removal results, ensure a thick border edge and infill with NarrowTrax.
Curing:
1: Within approx. 1 hour, NarrowTrax will dry translucent, indicating it is Protection Ready.
Increasing ventilation will improve curing timeframe.
Removal:1. Wet down the NarrowTrax coating.
2. Lift the NarrowTrax coating at one corner; and slowly peel the NarrowTrax. It will lift off in one continuous sheet.
3. Dispose of the used NarrowTrax thoughtfully.
4. Wash vehicle as usual. Any residual NarrowTrax can be removed with water and a high pressure hose. For best peel off results; allow at least 24 hours from curing to removal.
